General Shekarchi: CENTCOM Commander’s Recent Claim Is False and Ridiculous

The senior spokesperson for the Armed Forces stated: The CENTCOM commander’s deflection and his false, ridiculous claim regarding the escorting of oil tankers and the transit of one billion barrels of oil over the past two months amount to a failed psychological operation—rather than reality—designed to boost the morale of the exhausted and worn-out forces of the US terrorist military in the region and to justify the exorbitant financial and human costs the US has incurred there.

According to the political correspondent of Fars News Agency, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the senior spokesperson for the Armed Forces, addressed regional developments, stating: The CENTCOM commander’s deflection and his false, ridiculous claim regarding the escorting of oil tankers and the transit of one billion barrels of oil over the past two months amount to a failed psychological operation—rather than reality—designed to boost the morale of the exhausted and worn-out forces of the US terrorist military in the region and to justify the exorbitant financial and human costs the US has incurred there; this claim cannot alter the reality of that country's aggressor military withdrawing from the region.

He added: The initiative in the Strait of Hormuz remains firmly in the hands of Iran's powerful armed forces.

The commander of US terrorist forces in the region—known as CENTCOM—had claimed earlier today that one billion barrels of oil had passed through the Strait of Hormuz under the escort of warships operating under his command.
