On Monday, June 6 in an international conference in Beirut, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Hassan Nasrollah, the Secretary-General Lebanon's legendry anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, lauded the foresight and decisiveness of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

In the conference titled Modernism and Ijtihad in Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei's View", he said the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, both at the regional and international levels, thwarted the US-Zionist designs to dominate the region. Nasrollah described Ayatollah Khamenei a "unique personality", saying people in the region should be taught more about his eminent place, adding: "Our responsibility is to introduce this great man (Ayatollah Khamenei) to the nation and the world and this is the very important and sensitive mission of this conference.” He touched on regional issues on which Ayatollah Khamenei had the "strategic vision" to predict the unpredictable, recalling that "in 1996, they (the big powers) told us, do not bother yourselves and that there’s no need to provide blood and sacrifices; but there was someone (that is, Ayatollah Khamenei) who called on us to arrange our issues and continue our Jihad and resistance on the basis that the Israeli-Syrian settlement won’t be executed.”

Seyyed Hassan Nasrollah elaborating on the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's foresight also recalled that: “In late 1999, Ayatollah Khamenei told us that your victory in Lebanon is very, very close -- closer than you would expect and this was contrary to all the analysis and information. Then again, in the early days of July 2006 war, we received a message from Ayatollah Khamenei that we will definitely be victorious and emerge as an undefeated power after the war.”

The Hezbollah secretary general indicated that after highly suspicious September 11, 2001 events in New York, Ayatollah Khamenei "told us not to be worried and that this is the beginning of the US collapse and that when they (the Americans) entered Iraq and Afghanistan, it was the beginning of their end. Ayatollah Khamenei said that when the US is unable to protect its interests through regimes in the region or through armies and fleets and become obliged to deploy all the fleets to the region, this is a sign of weakness.”

According to Seyyed Hassan Nasrollah Ayatollah Khamenei was the only leader in the confrontation with the US war for a new Middle East "that needed a lot of reasoning, wisdom and courage (where) we cannot understand many of the aspects of this war even now."

Lebanon's legendry Hezbollah Chief said: Ayatollah Khamenei believes that the Zionist entity is moving towards demise and collapse and that this collapse would happen soon. "He believes that peace and compromise with the Zionist regime would lead nowhere. (He also believes and that) what is happening in Palestine and elsewhere in the region shows the Palestinian nation will continue its resistance against the Zionist regime and will not accept any concessions. When we compare Ayatollah Khamenei's words about Israel with the conditions dominating the region and when we consider Lebanon's success in the 33-day war and (the Palestinians' success in) the Gaza war, we realize that the demise and collapse of the Zionist regime is imminent and, God willing, it will take place in the near future."

Nasrollah said the US wants to hijack the Arab revolutions as part of its plot to protect Israel.

It is also interesting to note that Ayatollah Khamenei, unlike the diabolical policies of the US and the West, calls for a free and fair referendum to resolve the chronic crisis of the Zionist usurped land of Palestine. He has made it clear that on the basis of the UN Charter the more than 6 million Palestinians living as refugees in different countries have the right to return to their homeland in order to decide the fate of their country. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has also made it clear that the solution is only one single Palestinian state, in all its entirety, stretching from the borders of Lebanon in the north to the borders of Egypt in the south, and from the River Jordan in the east to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the west. As for the ruling Zionist minority who are migrants from Europe, they should return to their own lands and leave Palestine
