بسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ (علق:1)
Read in the Name of your Lord who created;
The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: When I was praying in the cave of Hara, Gabriel appeared to me and said: Read the Qur'an.
One of the honors of Islam is that it started its work with reading, knowledge, and the first command of God to his prophet was a cultural command. The reading of the tablet that was opened for the first time in front of the Prophet was written.
