Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly to discuss the latest developments in bilateral ties, the implementation status of previous agreements, and key regional issues.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the state of relations between Tehran and Islamabad and examined the cooperation documents and understandings reached during reciprocal visits by officials from both countries, emphasizing the necessity of continued follow-up and the effective implementation of these agreements.
