Criticizing the international community's silence regarding Saudi Arabia's crimes, Yemen's Minister of Health stated that the Saudis show no humanitarian or ethical regard in their aggression against Yemen.

Ali Shaiban said on Monday that international silence and double standards have emboldened Saudi Arabia, leading to continued civilian killings and the commission of further atrocities.

Noting that this situation implicates the UN and its affiliated bodies as accomplices in these crimes, Shaiban emphasized that the Saudi enemy disregards all humanitarian and ethical considerations in its aggression against Yemen.

Stressing that humanity has never witnessed crimes of this nature, he pointed out that Saudi Arabia has targeted civilians, civilian infrastructure, markets, schools, hospitals, bridges, and other sites in its attacks.

Referring to airstrikes by Saudi jets on a crowded market in Taiz, the Yemeni Health Minister described the attacks as definitive proof of Saudi Arabia's terrorism and criminality in targeting the population.

Shaiban reported that seven people were killed and 43 wounded in this atrocity, adding: "The Saudi enemy's claim that its mercenaries possess fighter jets is a lie intended to absolve itself of responsibility."

He called on media outlets to visit the scene of the crime committed by the Saudi enemy against civilians to investigate and report on the situation.

The Yemeni Health Minister announced that the total number of casualties from Saudi aggression—since the escalation of attacks over the past 24 days—has reached 174 killed and wounded, the majority of whom are women and children. He condemned the international silence and the United Nations' complicity regarding Saudi crimes in Yemen, and called for an end to double standards and the selective application of international law.
