CIA Warns of Potential Internal Collapse of the Israeli Regime

A CIA report warns that an accumulation of economic, social, and political crises in Israel could expose the regime to the risk of civil war or collapse.

A report by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) indicates that the Israeli regime faces a serious risk of "civil war" or the collapse of its political structure due to years of war and genocide.

The report, dating back to August—parts of which were published on Monday by the independent outlet *Drop Site News*—reveals that intense pressures are building among Jews living in the occupied territories, potentially leading to civil war.

Key factors cited include an economic crisis driven by skyrocketing military costs; the return of military personnel from combat zones with heavy weaponry and traumatic experiences; public anger over the exemption of Haredi Jewish men from military service; settler violence in the occupied West Bank; and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to retain power ahead of elections scheduled for late October.

CIA experts stated that the exemption of Haredi Jewish men from military service has created a deep rift among Israelis. They also warned that the massive costs of the expanded war on Gaza have pushed inflation to record highs and further intensified dissatisfaction with the regime.

Furthermore, they noted that heavily armed soldiers returning from battlefields in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran—bearing both weapons and a "thirst for bloodshed"—could pave the way for a full-scale civil war within the occupied territories. According to the report, Israel's growing international isolation—including the United States distancing itself from the regime—has also emerged as a serious threat. The CIA has warned that such isolation could accelerate the process of Israel's collapse.

The report adds that the convergence and interplay of these pressures, occurring while Israel faces a deep internal crisis, could spark a civil war—a conflict that could entail severe consequences, such as the departure of technology and artificial intelligence companies from the occupied territories and the reconsideration of normalization agreements with the Israeli regime by Arab governments.

The report concludes that beneath the image of military and intelligence superiority it projects, Israel is accumulating economic, political, and social contradictions. The CIA has warned that military might and continued U.S. support may prove insufficient to avert the crisis awaiting the regime.
