Tehran – Naqsh-e Negin Isfahan has published a book on references to Imam Ali (AS) in the holy Qur’an.

In an interview with IBNA, Mohammad Ali Torabi, religious researcher and the compiler of the book, said Qur’anic ayahs about imam Ali (AS) as well as the causes of their revelation are included in the book.

The book also includes the famous Ziyarah or salutation for the historic day of Ghadeer (18th Zilhijja), when by God’s express command, Prophet Mohammad (SAWA), while returning from his Farewell Hajj Pilgrimage, halted at the place called Ghadeer-Khom near Juhfa, and proclaimed Imam Ali (AS) as his vicegerent in front of the huge gathering of 120,000 pilgrims.

This Ziyarah or standard form of salutation is related from the Prophet’s 10th Infallible Successor, Imam Ali al-Hadi (AS), and is included in the popular prayer and supplication manual titled Mafatih al-Jenan (Keys to Paradise) compiled by the late Iranian scholar Sheikh Abbas Qomi.
