'Fingers on trigger': Yemen says ready to act if Israel resumes Gaza, Lebanon wars
Yemen is prepared to immediately resume anti-Israel operations if the regime violates the ceasefire agreements in Gaza and Lebanon and decides to escalate its atrocities, according to Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
Houthi made the remarks in a speech delivered on the anniversary of the 2015 departure of US marines from the capital Sana'a, referring to speculations that Israel may resume the war on Gaza as it is stalling in implementing the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
He said the Israeli enemy must understand that no matter how much it relies on the Americans, it will not achieve its goals if it decides to escalate.
"Our fingers are on the trigger, and we are ready to escalate immediately against the Israeli enemy if it resumes aggression on Gaza," he said.
"If the enemy resumes escalation, it will return to the conditions and dangers of war in security, military, and economic terms, regardless of American support."
The Yemeni leader also said they will be present in any stage of escalation or comprehensive aggression against Lebanon and will stand fully on the military and other levels with the Lebanese people and the resistance.
He noted that the Israeli aim in delaying its withdrawal from Lebanon was to continue the aggression to destroy what remained in Lebanese villages, homes, and agricultural lands.
"We stand with our brothers in Hezbollah and the Lebanese people and are ready for any phase of escalation or comprehensive aggression on Lebanon," he added.
"We remain firm in our position no matter the challenges."
‘Gazans to thwart Trump’s plan’
Houthi also touched on the US-Israeli project to displace Gazans, which has received worldwide condemnations.
He said the American plan was a blatant and scandalous aggression, a disgrace in every sense of the word, and that Gazans will defeat this attempt at occupation of their lands.
“Will Trump buy the Gaza Strip from its people, who have stood firm and held onto their rights for 15 months amid an unparalleled genocide and aggression?”
“Do you, foolish and ignorant, think that after all their unmatched resilience and immense sacrifice, the honorable people of Gaza will sell you their homeland?”
Houthi said the conditions are ripe for Arabs and Muslims to unite in the face of the Gaza displacement plot.
It is in no-one's interest to accept the US stance on the displacement of the Palestinian people, Houthi said.
“The American position represents an opportunity for awareness that all other options proposed by Arab regimes and leaders are unviable.”
Houthi said the United States seeks to establish a narrative in the Arab world that considers Israel a friend and Iran an enemy.
“When some adopt the Israeli and American narrative that Iran is the enemy, this is pure ignorance, foolishness, and misguidance.”
Houthi said Muslims must unite against the schemes of the United States and Israel, and those who believe they will benefit from siding with Washington are “deluded.”

Iran’s top general: Regional unity only way to confront ‘terrorist’ Israeli regime
The chief of staff of Iran’s Armed Forces has condemned the US-Israeli plan for the forced displacement of Gazans, saying the only way to confront the Israeli “terrorist” regime is through unity among the countries of the region.
Major General Mohammad Baqeri made the remarks during a meeting with Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, chief of staff of the Sultanate of Oman’s Armed Forces, at the headquarters of the General Staff of the Armed Forces in Tehran on Tuesday.
“Given the barbaric and expansionist nature of the Zionist regime, the only way to confront this occupying and terrorist regime is through unity and solidarity among the countries of the region.”
General Baqeri said the “friendly” relations between Iran and Oman are “historical and developing.”
“Our relations with the Sultanate of Oman are strong and stable, but given the existing circumstances, the ties must expand further.”
Iran’s top general said the development of maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman is “essential to combat smuggling and ensure maritime security.” The Iranian general invited Oman to participate in the Maritime Security Belt naval drills.
“There is a host of capacities for interaction between the armed forces of the two countries, including in the fields of education, culture, military, and counter-terrorism.”
Al Raisi, for his part, said Oman will work to promote regional stability, as the nations of the region are “its rightful owners.”
“Unfortunately, however, some trans-regional countries are seeking to sow discord,” he added.
Al Raisi said the relations between Oman and Iran have long been based on mutual trust.
“Oman has always emphasized the development of ties between the two nations at all levels.”
Al Raisi arrived in Tehran on Monday evening at the official invitation of Major General Baqeri.
He is scheduled to visit an exhibition showcasing the capabilities of Iran’s Armed Forces and meet with commanders of Iran’s Armed Forces.

Reasons for the increased participation of people in the 10th of February 2025 march: Trump's threats changed the story!
Trump's recent threats against Iran have been cited as one of the factors contributing to the more serious and enthusiastic participation of people in the 12th of Bahman 1403 march. This issue has been repeatedly emphasized in the speeches of officials and analyses related to the ceremony. In the following, we will examine the connection between Trump's threats and the increase in public participation, citing available sources:
Why did Trump's threats increase the number of people in the march?
Trump's threats not only failed to reduce public participation, but also became a factor that, by inciting a sense of resistance and national unity, led to a wider and more meaningful participation in the 12th of Bahman march. This issue was clearly reflected in the speeches of officials, popular slogans, and anti-American symbols. In other words, instead of weakening, foreign threats led to strengthening internal solidarity and demonstrating the authority of the Islamic Republic.
Iranians mark 46th anniversary of Islamic Revolution with nationwide marches, celebrations
Iranians gather at Tehran’s iconic Azadi Square to mark the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, on February 10, 2025.
In a display of national unity and unwavering revolutionary spirit, millions of Iranians from all walks of life have taken to the streets across the country to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The various commemoration events and celebrations, which were held on Monday, were imbued with fervor and patriotic zeal, showcasing the deep-rooted allegiance of the Iranian people to the values and principles that shaped the Islamic Republic following the Revolution’s victory.
From the sprawling metropolis of Tehran to the remotest villages, citizens participated in mass marches, carrying banners, waving the national flag, and chanting slogans echoing the indelible legacy of the Revolution that overthrew the United States-backed tyrannical Pahlavi monarchy.
The waves of demonstrators converged on iconic spots, such as the capital’s Azadi Square and Enqelab Square, filling the air with resounding chants of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” reiterating Iran’s steadfast opposition to foreign interference, imperialist hegemony, and Western-backed occupation and aggression.
Senior officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian as well as military and religious figures, are slated to address the nation on the occasion that marks drawn-out religious fervor and struggle on the part of Iranians against the Pahlavi regime under the guidance of the revered late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini.
The addresses are expected to underscore, among other things, the country’s unwavering support for oppressed nations, particularly the peoples of Palestine, Yemen, and Lebanon, in line with the Revolution’s overall anti-imperialist vision.
Across various cities, students, religious scholars, and families of martyrs, who gave their lives towards enabling the Revolution’s victory or its preservation, paid homage to the sacrifices that were made in defense of the development, while reaffirming their unshakable commitment to Imam Khomeini’s ideals.
Observers say the victory of the Revolution on February 11, 1979 marked the dawn of a new era in Iran’s history, one that dismantled decades of Western-backed deadly oppression and replaced it with a ruling structure rooted in Islamic principles and popular sovereignty.
They say the Revolution remains a beacon of defiance against global arrogance, serving as an inspiration to oppressed nations worldwide.
They also underline the development’s enduring significance that has been witnessed by the Islamic Republic's successful defeating of decades of US-led conspiracies aimed at undermining its sovereignty following the Revolution’s victory.
The Islamic Republic, however, has continued to thrive in the face of the persistent attempts aimed at undermining the Revolution or stifling Iran’s progress, which have included economic sanctions, psychological warfare and an eight-year heavily-Western-supported war by Iraq.

Israeli forces kill Palestinian pregnant woman, unborn child in West Bank
Israeli forces have fatally shot an eight-month Palestinian pregnant mother and her unborn baby during their raid in the Nur Shams refugee camp northwest of the occupied West Bank.
In a statement carried by the WAFA news agency on Sunday, the Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victim as Sundus Jamal Shalabi, 23, saying she lost her fetus during the Israeli gunfire that also critically wounded her husband.
Medical teams were unable to save the life of the fetus as the occupation soldiers prevented the transfer of the injured to the hospital, the ministry added.
The pregnant woman and her unborn baby arrived at the Thabet Thabet hospital in the city of Tulkarm martyred, while her husband was transferred to a hospital in Ramallah due to the severity of his condition.
Sundus Shalabi, 23, from Nur Shams Refugee Camp near Tulkarm, was eight months pregnant when she was forcibly displaced with her husband and two children at the start of the Israeli assault on the camp.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli snipers, stationed on buildings in Nur Shams, opened fire at Sundus and her husband in the camp’s al-Saleheen area while they were attempting to leave their home and find a safer location.
Early on Sunday, Israeli forces deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers to the Nur Shams camp and stormed dozens of homes.
Reports said that the regime’s troops blocked off access points to the Nur Shams refugee camp and converted homes there into military outposts and sniper positions.
Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the Israeli soldiers had prevented its medical teams from entering the camp, despite reports of casualties.
Israel continues West Bank raids; Palestine condemns ‘ethnic cleansing’
Israeli forces continue their raids across the occupied West Bank, targeting local Palestinians and their properties.
The Israeli military launched its offensive against the West Bank’s northern areas on January 21, claiming that it was targeting resistance fighters of the Jenin Battalion.
On Saturday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry called for global action to stop Israel’s ongoing “ethnic cleansing” in the occupied West Bank.
It said the Israeli forces have been raiding the refugee camps of Tulkarem, Jenin and Far’a and “emptying them of their residents” in a blatant violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions.
Israel has ramped up West Bank violence since October 7, 2023, when it launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
Since then, the regime forces have killed more than 900 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Free luxury goods to Gaza; basic goods are prohibited!
After imposing 16 months of war on the people of Gaza, the Zionist regime, under international pressure, is using a new tactic of sending luxury goods instead of basic and essential goods to Palestinian refugees living in Gaza.
The markets of the Gaza Strip are now full of snacks, biscuits, hot and cold drinks, and even expensive fruits, but the Zionists are preventing the entry of basic and essential goods such as flour, eggs, and sugar to improve the nutritional conditions of 2 million Palestinian refugees!
"Umm Ahmed al-Turk", a Palestinian refugee, told a Tasnim reporter: "We don't need Nescafe and cappuccino. Our bodies are weak and helpless from hunger, and we even faint when we walk."
"Amal Saleh", a Palestinian mother, also says: "We need flour because the most important and basic thing is for children to eat bread. Children are not even able to stand up." By God, our children are dying from extreme hunger and cannot tolera
Netanyahu’s ‘absolute victory’ dream turns into ‘shattered illusion’: Hamas
Hamas has celebrated the latest release of dozens of Palestinians from Israeli prisons and stated that the unfolding developments dispelled the false illusion of the regime's invincibility.
The Gaza-based Palestinian resistance movement said in a statement on Saturday that the resistance turned the Israeli prime minister’s crazy dream of "absolute victory" in the genocidal war on Gaza into a "shattered illusion."
Hamas said, “The great scenes of the handover process, and the messages of the Resistance about the “next day,” confirm that our people and their resistance hold the upper hand… bringing us closer to return, freedom and self-determination.”
It added that Palestinian people, through unwavering support for the Resistance and wholesale rejection of the Israeli occupation, reaffirm their denunciation of US President Donald Trump’s projects aimed at their displacement and occupation of their lands, and reiterate their steely determination to thwart them.
“The ‘absolute victory’ that the criminal Netanyahu and his army sought for 471 days have now turned into illusions shattered on the blessed soil of Gaza forever.
“We renew our salutations to our great Palestinian people, who, with their exemplary steadfastness, sent a clear message to the entire world that they… are committed to their resistance, and determined to stay on the path towards liberation and establishment of an independent state with al-Quds as its capital,” the statement read.
Hamas underscored that Palestinian resistance factions have adhered to human values and the provisions of international humanitarian law in their treatment of Israeli captives, and have made great efforts to save their lives despite the the Israeli military’s heavy bombings and attempts of war criminal Netanyahu to target and liquidate them.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on Saturday, handed over three Israeli captives to the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.
Israel, in return, released 183 Palestinian prisoners as part of the fifth phase of the prisoner exchange deal under the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
Abdullah al-Zaghari, head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, said the released prisoners, transported by ICRC buses had arrived in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
Of the freed prisoners, 42 were from the occupied West Bank, three from Jerusalem al-Quds, and 27 from the Gaza Strip, all serving life sentences or lengthy terms, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees' and Ex-Detainees' Affairs said in a statement.
Seven of the freed prisoners would be deported outside Palestinian territories, the statement noted.

Israeli occupation army planning for 'voluntary' departure of Gazans after Trump proposal
Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz has ordered the regime’s army to prepare a plan forcing the "voluntary departure" of Palestinian from the Gaza Strip.
Katz’s instruction on Thursday followed President Donald Trump's contentious proposal to transfer Palestinians out of Gaza and have the US take over the war-ruined enclave.
"I have instructed the IDF (military) to prepare a plan to enable voluntary departure for Gaza residents," the Israeli mistier said in a statement.
Katz specified that he had told the Israeli army to make preparations that "would allow any Gaza resident who wishes to leave to do so, to any country willing to accept them.”
"The plan will include exit options through land crossings, as well as special arrangements for departure by sea and air," Katz added.
Katz said he welcomed "Trump's bold plan, which could allow a large portion of Gaza's population to relocate to various places around the world.”
‘Trump can go to hell’
Trump’s Gaza proposal has drawn widespread criticism from various international rights groups as well as world countries like Russia, China and Germany, which said it would foster "new suffering and new hatred."
Meanwhile, Palestinians in Gaza have pledged to never leave the ruins of their homes in the coastal territory.
“Trump can go to hell, with his ideas, with his money, and with his beliefs. We are going nowhere. We are not some of his assets,” said Samir Abu Basel, the father of five, who has been displaced from his house near Jabalia on Gaza’s northern edge.
“If he wants to resolve this conflict he should take the Israelis and put them in one of the states [in America]. They are the strangers, not the Palestinians. We are the owners of the land,” Basel told Reuters.
“He spoke with much arrogance…he can test us, and soon he will find out his fantasies don’t work with us.”
Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior official of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, also said Trump’s statement about taking over the territory was “ridiculous and absurd,” adding, “Any ideas of this kind are capable of igniting the region."
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel took effect on January 19, 2025, aiming to end the Israeli regime’s more than 15 months of genocide against the Gaza Strip that has killed nearly 62,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, with the number rising as more bodies are pulled out from rubble.
Despite signing a ceasefire agreement, Israel has continuously violated it through daily airstrikes, sniper attacks, and aid blockades—while Hamas has been committed to the deal.

A deal that was rejected!
Trump thought he could force the Palestinians to leave their land.
To implement his plan, Trump went straight to work. He contacted Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and tried to pressure him to accept the displaced Palestinians on Egyptian soil. In a cordial tone, he called al-Sisi a “friend” and, recalling the aid he had provided to Egypt, asked for his cooperation in the project. Trump even went further and claimed that the King of Jordan would also participate in the implementation of the plan.
But things did not go as Trump had imagined. Egypt and Jordan rejected the proposal in an official statement. They considered the plan not a solution, but a blatant attempt to forcibly displace the Palestinians and destroy their national identity. Al-Sisi responded: “The forced displacement of the Palestinian people is an atrocity that Egypt will never participate in.” Jordan, which is currently home to more than 2 million Palestinians, warned that accepting the plan would be not only impossible but also a threat to the stability of the entire region.
In response to the plot, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Palestinian Authority and the Arab League held an emergency meeting in Cairo and strongly condemned the plan in a joint statement. The statement said: “This plan will not only not solve the Palestinian crisis, but will also intensify the conflict and destroy the prospects for peace.”
At the meeting, Arab leaders reaffirmed the two-state solution and announced that they would seek to work with the United States to achieve a just peace based on this solution. They also called on the international community to accelerate the reconstruction of Gaza with the direct participation of the Palestinians.
Al-Aqsa Mosque preacher takes a stand against Trump's plan
Sheikh "Ikrimah Sabri", the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in response to Trump's statements about expelling Palestinians from their land, said: "We will remain steadfast in our position, even if it comes at a heavy price." Referring to Trump's dangerous plans to relocate Gazans to Egypt and Jordan, he emphasized: "It is incumbent on neighboring countries to resist these pressures and not succumb to American pressure."
