Documentation on Imam al-Mahdi (as) in Ahl al-Sunnah's Books
The following are only some of the traditions about Imam al-Mahdi which Sunnis admit to their authenticity and existence:
The Prophet (S) said: "Even if the entire duration of the world’s existence has already been exhausted and only one day is left (before the day of judgment), Allah will expand that day to such a length of time, as to accommodate the kingdom of a person from my Ahlul-Bayt who will be called by my name. He will fill out the earth with peace and justice as it will have been full of injustice and tyranny (by then)."

The Prophet (S) said: The Mahdi will be of my family, of the descendants of Fatimah (the Prophet’s daughter).

Also:
The Prophet (S) said: "We the children of Abd al-Muttalib are the Masters of the inhabitants of the heaven: Myself, Hamza (ra), ‘Ali (as), Ja’far Ibn Abi Talib (ra), al-Hasan (as), al-Husayn (as), and al-Mahdi (as)."

In Sahih Muslim, in the Chapter of al-Fitan, there are some interesting traditions on what will happen in the last days of the world. I would like to quote two of them here:
Abu Nadra reported: We were with the company of Jabir Ibn Abdillah... Jabir Ibn Abdillah kept quite for a while and then reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said: "There would be a Caliph in the last (period) of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of wealth to the people without counting it.”I said to Abu Nadra and Abu al-Ala: Do you mean Umar Ibn Abd al-Aziz? They said: NO, (he would be Imam Mahdi).
Sunni references:
• Sahih Muslim, English version, v4, chapter MCCV, p1508, Tradition #6961
It is also narrated:
In the end of the time, my Ummah will undergo very hard affliction like never before, so that man can not find any way out. Then Allah will appear a person from my progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt, who will fill the earth with justice as it was filled with injustice. The inhabitants of the earth and the inhabitants of the heaven love him. The sky will bring down its water everywhere and the earth will bring all what it can offer and will become green all over.

• al-Sahih fi al-Hadith, by al-Hakim, as quoted in:
• al-Sawa’iq al-Muhriqah, by Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Ch. 11, section 1, p250
Also Ahmad Ibn Hanbal recorded:
The Prophet (S) said: "Allah will bring out from concealment al-Mahdi from my Family and just before the Day of Judgment; even if only one day were to remain in the life of the world, and he will spread on this earth justice and equity and will eradicate tyranny and oppression."
Sunni references:
• Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, v1, p99
It is narrated in Sahih Muslim that:
Jabir Ibn Abdillah al-Ansari (ra) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: "A group of my Ummah will fight for the truth until near the day of judgment when Jesus, the son of Marry, will descend, and the leader of them will ask him to lead the prayer, but Jesus declines, saying: "No, Verily, among you Allah has made leaders for others and He has bestowed his bounty upon them."
Sunni reference:
• Sahih Muslim, Arabic, part 2, p193
Also al-Hafidh Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani mentioned that:
"The Mahdi is of this Ummah, and that Jesus (S) will come down and pray behind him."
Sunni reference: Fat’h al-Bari, by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, v5, p362
Prophet Jesus is not the Imam of Muslims, and when he comes back, he will be the follower of the Imam of Muslims who is known as Imam al-Mahdi (as).
In Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated that:
The Prophet (S) said: "What would be your situation if the Son of Marry (i.e. Jesus) descends upon you and your Imam is among you?"
Sunni reference:
• Sahih al-Bukhari, Arabic-English, v4, Tradition #658
In conclusion, the belief in the coming Mahdi (as) who is a person other than Jesus (as), is an undeniable fact for all Muslims.
Why should we support the Palestinian people?
Paying attention to the condition of Muslims is one of the signs of Islam. The Islamic Ummah is considered a single society that is not separated by geographical boundaries.
Many verses of the Holy Qur'an emphasize the unity and connection of the Islamic Ummah and human society, and they especially consider Muslims as brothers.
In this context, it was narrated from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Whoever wakes up and is indifferent to the affairs of Muslims is not a Muslim."
There are also many verses about fighting oppressors in the Quran.
[Quran11:113] and do not incline to those who are unjust, lest the fire touch you, and you have no guardians besides Allah, then you shall not be helped.
[Quran 2:190] And fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not commit aggression; God does not love the aggressors. [Quran 2:193] And fight them until there is no oppression, and worship becomes devoted to God alone.
Therefore, the thinking that limits the care of the needy to society and the country, and beyond that does not consider the responsibility towards Muslims and the Islamic system, is far from Islam. Paying attention to the needy inside the country and the oppressed Muslims is the duty and social responsibility of both the people and the Islamic system, and none of them are in conflict with the other. Contrasting between these two is caused by misunderstanding and misunderstanding of religious concepts and human and Islamic responsibility, not considering priorities.
Hamas confirms leader Yahya Sinwar martyred in Israeli strike
Khalil Hayya, head of Hamas in Gaza, delivered a statement on Friday, a day after reports of Sinwar's martyrdom.
"We mourn the great national leader, the Mujahid Martyr Brother Yahya Al-Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim), Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Commander of Al-Aqsa Storm Operation," he said.
He remembered Sinwar as "one of the noblest and bravest men, a man who dedicated his life to Palestine and gave his soul for the sake of Allah on the path to its liberation."
"He rose as a heroic martyr, advancing and never retreating, wielding his weapon, engaging and confronting the occupation army at the frontlines. He moved between all combat positions, steadfast and stationed on the honored land of Gaza, defending the land of Palestine and its holy sites, inspiring the spirit of endurance, patience, steadfastness, and resistance."
Referring to the history of Sinwar's struggle against the Israeli regime, Hayya noted that the fallen leader "attained the highest rank and the noblest medal, ascending as a witness and a martyr, content with the jihad and sacrifice he offered."
Naming a host of other resistance leaders assassinated by the Israeli regime in the past years, the Hamas official noted that "these sacrifices will continue to illuminate our path and drive us to more resilience and steadfastness."
"Hamas remains committed to the promise of its founding leaders and martyrs until the aspirations of our people are fully realized: the complete liberation and return, and the establishment of the Palestinian state on the entire national soil with Al-Quds as its capital, by Allah’s will," he said, adding, "This will become a curse upon the invading occupiers who are strangers to this land."
He underlined that the martyrdom of leaders "only strengthens Hamas and our resistance, making us more determined and steadfast in following their path, honoring their blood and sacrifices."
He highlighted that Israeli captives held in Gaza "will not return except with the cessation of aggression on Gaza, its withdrawal, and the release of our heroic prisoners from the occupation’s jails."
The charismatic leader of the Palestinian resistance movement had escaped many assassination attempts before and after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on Oct. 7, 2023,
Sinwar, 62, played an instrumental role in coordinating and supervising the landmark operation that jolted the Zionist regime.
Before becoming the Hamas leader in Gaza in 2017, Sinwar spent 22 years in an Israeli prison. He was released as part of a prisoner swap in 2011.
“Hamas will never abandon the path of resistance… Our resistance will continue until the liberation of all of Palestine,” he declared during a speech in Gaza in late October 2017.
Sinwar had been chosen as the overall Hamas leader after Israel assassinated Ismail Haniyeh in July.
Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran, where he was to attend the inauguration ceremony of new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Israeli soldiers reveal: Ethnic-cleansing plan already underway in north Gaza
Three Israeli reserve soldiers deployed to Gaza told Haaretz this week that they believe the “Generals’ Plan,” also known as the Eiland Plan, is being implemented.
“The goal is to give the residents who live north of the Netzarim area a deadline to move to the south of the Strip. After this date, whoever will remain in the north will be considered an enemy and will be killed,” a soldier stationed in the Netzarim Corridor was quoted as saying.
The soldier said the plan does not conform to any standard of international law.
“People sat and wrote a systematic order with charts and an operational concept, at the end of which you shoot whoever isn’t willing to leave. The very existence of this idea is unfathomable.”
A second soldier said “the commanders say openly that the Eiland Plan is being promoted by the military.”
There are now signs that even if the policy has not been adopted by top military officials who are reportedly discussing it, the plan is already being carried out, the report said on Wednesday.
Haaretz journalist Amos Harel wrote, "Ideas such as deliberately opening fire close to a population and even steps towards starving the inhabitants are being debated."
Major international aid organizations have called on leaders and the international community to stop Israel’s forced displacement in northern Gaza.
“The Israeli forces’ assault on Gaza has escalated to a horrifying level of atrocity,” said organizations such as Oxfam, Medical Aid for Palestinians (Map), ActionAid, Islamic Relief, Christian Aid and other UK-based charities on Tuesday.
“This is not an evacuation; this is forced displacement under gunfire. Since 1 October, no food has been allowed into the area, and civilians are being starved and bombed in their homes and their tents.”
Over the past 10 days, Israeli forces ordered hundreds of thousands of people to flee northern Gaza before launching a new offensive.

Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) in non-Islamic books
The certainty of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (peace be upon him), means that he will definitely come, is something that Shia and Sunni believe in, and even non-Muslims have given their followers the news of a savior in the end of time in their books.
1.1 - Torah
For example: In the Torah, the prophet Isaiah, chapter 11 says:
"... He will judge the poor with justice, and he will judge the oppressed of the earth with truth... The wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat, and the calf and the lion will feed together, and the little child will want them. Rand... They will not harm or corrupt in all my holy mountain. Because the world will be filled with the knowledge of God."
1.2 - Old Testament
In the Old Testament, the Book of Psalms, Psalm 37, it is said:
"... because the wicked will be cut off, but those who wait for God will inherit the earth. Han! After a while, he will not be evil. You will meditate in its place and it will not be, but the meek people will inherit the earth... and it will be their inheritance forever.
In Surah Anbiyyah verse 105, we read: "And it is written in the Book of Al-Zabbu, after the mention that the earth inherits the righteous worshipers."
That is: We wrote in the psalm (Dawood (peace be upon him)) that finally, my worthy servants will inherit the earth. Now, once again read the text of the psalm that we brought in this article and compare it with this verse and see how God preserved this part of the psalm so that future generations will know that the government of the earth will eventually fall into the hands of worthy people and the fate of wicked and cruel people. There is nothing but destruction."
1.3 - Gospel of Luke
In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 12, it is stated:
"Gird up your loins, keep your lamps burning, and be like those who wait for their master when he returns from the wedding, so that whenever he comes and knocks, the door will be opened to him immediately. Happy is the condition of those slaves when their master comes to find them awake. Therefore, be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.
The meaning of Luke's Gospel is the same as waiting for Faraj, which according to Shia is really waiting for the appearance of the Imam of the Time (peace be upon him) like someone who is waiting for the arrival of a dear guest who has already cleaned the house and prepared the food.
A person who waits for Imam Mahdi avoids sins. A believer loves good deeds and commands them, and hates bad deeds and forbids them, and because he is waiting for the destruction of oppression, he fights against it as much as he can. He is the helper of truth and justice and the enemy of falsehood and justice.
The meaning of waiting for Imam Zaman is the same as in the traditions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) it is considered the best of acts of worship. Tirmidhi narrated the original narration from the beloved Messenger of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "The best form of worship is waiting for Al-Faraj."
The Friday prayer that sent the message of courage from Iran to the world
Exactly, the presence of the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in the Friday prayer on 4th day of October was on the days when the some media announced that the leader of the revolution was transferred to a shelter and changed his place, and it is true that these rumors exist and this is the work of the enemy, the presence of the leader of Iran in the Friday prayer It was very meaningful. One of its important aspects was the courage of the leader of the revolution at this time.
The second point was the presence of people in the Friday prayer, and the attendance of people was very great in terms of quantity, which estimates are very significant, and some of them had come to the Friday prayer for the first time.
The content of the sermons was important, and the fact that a complete sermon was delivered in Arabic was due to the developments and sensitivity in the region. We had a lot of news that the people of the region were waiting for these sermons and heard and welcomed these sermons in different countries.
All this shows that the ceremony was a very important and sensitive ceremony that the world was watching and it was surprising for some and not for some. During the war, the leader of the Iranian Revolution came from the war fronts every week and delivered sermons. He used to perform Friday prayers in military uniforms and after that they were sent back to the fronts.
This time was one of those times when the leader of the Iranian revolution decided that they should be present.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei delivered a public sermon in central Tehran on October 4, 2024.
Abbas Salehi made the remarks in a post on his X account after Ayatollah Khamenei delivered a public sermon at the weekly Friday prayers to a huge number of worshipers gathered at the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla in central Tehran.
“The initiative of the Leader of the [Islamic] Revolution in his presence in the Friday prayers showed that he is also the commander of countering the psychological warfare of the enemy,” Salehi wrote.
He said the Leader’s presence and the gathering of millions of people in the sermons were like the missiles launched by Iran in its recent retaliatory operation against Israel, dubbed Operation True Promise II.
They symbolize “dignity, glory and strength”, the minister emphasized.
The Islamic Republic launched hundreds of missiles towards the Israeli entity’s military, and espionage and intelligence bases all over the occupied Palestinian territories as part of Operation True Promise II on Tuesday.
The operation came in response to the regime’s assassinations of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, Secretary General of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Brigadier General Abbas Nilforushan, the Deputy Commander for Operations of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).
Many analysts believe that the presence of the Islamic Revolution Leader in public delivers a special message to the Israeli regime.
Mohammad Ali Vakili, a former Iranian lawmaker, said that Ayatollah Khamenei demonstrated the "great courage" of a leader despite Israeli threats and media speculations.
"Even before today, on Wednesday, when the Zionist regime had tasted the bitter experience of Iran's ballistic missiles, the Leader, despite various narratives suggesting he was in a shelter, met with elites in his usual location under normal conditions, showcasing the power and bravery of a leader," he said on Friday.
In his address, Ayatollah Khamenei hailed “the brilliant work of our armed forces” in launching the missile strike on the Tel Aviv area, saying it was “completely legal and legitimate”.
“The brilliant work of our armed forces was completely legal and legitimate. What our armed forces did was the least punishment for the usurping Zionist regime over the astonishing crimes of this wolf-like regime and rabid dog of America," the Leader said.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei will lead Tehran Friday prayer this week
Although Isreal threatened Iran, Ayatollah Khemenei will deliver Friday prayer sermons at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Musallah on October 4.
A ceremony will be held before the prayers to commemorate Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, and his companions, including Iranian general Abbas Nilfotoushan, who were martyred in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last week.
The sermons will come days after Iran launched a successful missile operation on targets in the Israeli-occupied Palestine to avenge Israel’s assassination of senior resistance leaders and to support the people of Gaza and Lebanon against Israel’s brutal aggression.
The West is powerless against Iran
What countries did resist Iran's attack on Israel?
America, England, Jordan and all Western organizations in the region. According to the US, they were only able to intercept ten missiles.
England and France have already made a statement that we should reduce the tension.
The mayor of Tel Aviv said that Netanyahu is crazy and has led us into a war of destruction. Now it is clear who has the power.
Biden said that we are with Israel, but we are not in favor of war. Netanyahu said that their operation was unsuccessful!
Now America wants to react or Israel which is completely involved in the war?
Iran's attack hit Israel's economy hard.
Yediot Aharanot wrote about Israel's economic situation: Another hard blow to the economy! A few days after downgrading Israel's credit rating, S&P downgraded it once again [after the Iranian attack].
Yediot described this action of the world's largest credit rating company against the Zionist regime as urgent and earlier than expected. The forecast of this company is zero percent growth of the Israeli economy in 2024 and a budget deficit of 9 percent.
Iranian missile attacks on Israel
The Israeli army said: Missiles were fired from Iran into Israel not long ago.
Israeli media reported that more than 100 rockets were fired from Iran towards the center and south of Israel.
The Israeli army asked all Israeli citizens to stay in shelters following the firing of rockets from Iran to Israel.
