Imam Hasan (A.S.) the Leader of the youth in Heaven was born on 15th Ramadhan in third year after Hijrahin the holy city of Medina.

He was one of the four persons through whom the Holy Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) made the contest of prayer (Mubahila) with the Christians of Najran.

He was one of the five persons whom the Holy Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) covered with his cloak.

He was one of the twelve Imams whose obedience Allah made incumbent on people.

He was among those who were purified from sins as the Qur’an says. He was among those whose love Allah made reward for the divine mission of Islam.

Iftar in horrible situation in Palestine

Palestinians break their fast during a fast-breaking (iftar) dinner among destroyed houses while they don't know if they will survive from the Israeli attack tomorrow or not?

Name :Bibi Khadija ibnt-e-Khawailadt (SA)

Title : Umm-ul-Momineen

Agnomen : Tahira

Father : Khawailad ibn Asad

Mother :Fatima

Birth :at Makkah

There are only four women in the entire world who measured up to the lofty standards of real greatness and perfection set by Islam. They are:

1. Bibi Asiya (SA), the God fearing wife of Pharaoh

2. Bibi Maryam (SA), the mother of Jesus (Isa) (AS)

3. Bibi Khadija (SA), the daughter of Khawailad

4. Bibi Fatima Zahra (SA), the daughter of Prophet Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Bibi Khadija (SA), the holy wife of The Lord of Prophets, Prophet Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the mother of the Mistress of the Ladies of the Worlds, Bibi Fatima Zahra (SA), combined in her person all those attributes, which add up to perfection. Malikatul Arab (SA) was the ideal woman, the ideal wife for The Seal of Prophets, Prophet Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and the ideal mother.

Ramadan this year started on Monday in some countries but on Tuesday in others. How is that possible?

The exact start time of Ramadan depends on when local Islamic authorities around the world declare the sighting of the new moon, the astronomical event that marks the start of the observance.

the exact start time of Ramadan varies from place to place because it depends on a range of factors, including who observes the moon and how, and whether the sky is clear or cloudy at the time.

New technologies make moon readings more accurate, but they can also make the process more complex, the study said. For instance, does it count as an official sighting if a new crescent moon can be seen by an optical aid but not by the naked eye?

It isn’t just the start date of Ramadan that varies from place to place. The exact amount of time that people hold their dawn-to-dusk fasts depends on which year it is, and where they live in relation to the Equator.

Nowruz in Shiism

Nowruz is the beginning day of spring which marks the beginning of the Solar Hijri calendar.

Shiite sources include hadiths on Nowruz. According to some hadiths, Nowruz is a blessed day, which is to be celebrated. For instance, Imam al-Sadiq (a) is reported to have instructed ghusl, wearing one’s best clothes, a special prayer, and fasting on Nowruz. In another tradition, Imam al-Sadiq (a) is reported to have mentioned a number of important events that had occurred on the day of Nowruz, such as the event of Ghadir.

During Ramadan, those observing have a pre-dawn meal, or “suhoor,” to sustain themselves during the daylight hours, and later break their fast with “iftar,” often a large meal.

During the month, Muslims try to avoid conflict and focus on acts of charity. However, Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip is looming large for many Muslims. There were hopes that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas could be reached before Ramadan began.

But now people of Gaza live in displacement, pain and oppression and the other  Muslim countries have Ramadan in happiness. It is the time that all Muslims should try to help Palestinian people.

Ramadan in Gaza

As the Muslim world welcomed the start of the holy month on Monday, Gazans faced continued Israeli bombardments and a spiralling humanitarian crisis.

Hassuna Tabib Hassnan, a dentist displaced from Gaza City in the north of the besieged Gaza Strip, told the AFP news agency: “We had hoped that for Ramadan [we] would be in our homes, but unfortunately it is clear that we will live in displacement, pain and oppression.”

Meanwhile, Israeli restrictions on Muslims praying at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third-holiest site, may further also ramp up tensions in the region.
