Rallies held to condemn US veto of UN ceasefire resolution on Gaza
Pro-Palestinian rallies continue across the world to demand an end to Israel’s brutal aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.
Amidst a "Shut Down Wall Street" protest in lower Manhattan, hundreds rallied against the US veto on a UN ceasefire resolution, demanding an end to American financial aid to Israel in the wake of the Israeli war's devastating toll in Gaza.
A similar rally was held in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah to show support for Gaza. The demonstration came as violence had also surged in the West Bank, where Israeli forces shot dead six Palestinians on Friday, the territory's health ministry said.
Elsewhere in the Lebanese capital Beirut, women and children took part in a demonstration to show their solidarity with the children of Gaza. Toys wrapped in white sheets and small cardboard coffins bearing the Palestinian flag were arranged to represent the children killed across the Gaza Strip as the Israel's war on Gaza continues into its third month since October 7. The demonstrations take place as Gaza health ministry says that 17,487 people have been killed by Israeli forces in the territory.

what is temporary marriage in Islam?
Muslims are accused of innovating for this matter (temporary marriage), whilst it is one of divine laws of Islam and is derived from the Book and Sunna (tradition).
It means, the Islamic jurisprudence has validated these two kinds of marriage, according to Quran and Sunna (tradition); permanent marriage (there is no need to clarify) and temporary marriage or Mut’a.
Temporary marriage: If there is not any legally hindrance –having fosterage and blood relationships-, man and woman will enter in to a certain time period resulted from matrimonial contract. They should appoint amount of property as dowry. And after expiring that period, they separate from each other without pronouncing the divorce. And in the case of childbirth during this time, he/she will be their legal child and this child would be their heir. After the expiring of that period, woman has to observe Iddah, and if she becomes pregnant, she should also observe Iddah until the birth of child. And if she is the temporary wife of that man or observes the Iddah, she cannot marry to another man.
In most of Islamic laws, the temporary marriage is similar to permanent marriage, there are only two differences: appointing a period and non-obligation of alimony in temporary marriage. Regardless of these obvious differences, there are also some unimportant ones and we do not indicate them.
Islam is a comprehensive and last divine religion. And it offers temporary marriage as a solution to the sexual problems. Suppose a young man is studying or working abroad and cannot permanently marry. What should he do? And what is his duty? This young man has three choices:
A: repressing sexual instinct and depriving himself of sexual pleasure.
B: illegitimate relationship with corrupted women or who are infected with disease.
C: temporary marriage to a pure woman under particular conditions. Without any alimony and nor the problems of permanent marriage.
There are not anymore choices. Of course, it does not mean that temporary marriage is peculiar to these conditions, but by considering the mentioned conditions and the temporary marriage, a person can realize the beneficent of divine law of Islam.
It has to be said that Islamic scholars have confirmed another kind of permanent marriage, which is in fact, the temporary marriage: when a man permanently marries to a woman and one or both of them reach a consensus to divorce after a while. Although these two marriages have different names, they are same in nature.
Temporary marriage and Mutta’ are legitimate, according to Quran and Sunna of messenger of God –S.A-. the holy Quran has said:” so whatever you have enjoyed from them give them their obligated wage” (1). Most of commentators believe this verse has referred to temporary marriage. So consequently, in the vision of Islam there is not any doubt in legality of this kind of marriage but there is a disagreement over the following matter; is this kind of marriage repealed or still legitimate?
There have been referred to the validness (not being repealed) of temporary marriage in the narratives of Shi’ites and Sunnites. Acting according to this law was banned in the era of second caliph. It is worth mentioning that based on the speech of caliph in this regard, this kind of marriage (temporary marriage) was permitted in the era of messenger of God –S.A- and second Caliph (‘Umar) repealed Mutta’, because he has said:” O people! In the era of messenger of God –S.A-, there have been three things which I reject and abrogate, and whoever does it, will be punished: first, Mutta’ of women, second, Mutta’ of Hajj (pilgrimage) and third, saying: Hayya A’la Khair Al-‘amal. (2)
It is surprising that the first and third matters have been banned so far, but unlike the rule of second caliph, all of Muslims perform pilgrimage’s Mutta’. (Mutta’ of Hajj).
The following quotation of Bukhaari from ‘Emraan Ibne Hosain is a proof that Messenger of God –S.A- did not ban Mutta’:”the Mutta’ verse was sent down in Quran, we used to observe it in the era of messenger of God and at that time there did not reveal any verse to ban Mutta’, messenger of God –S.A- did not also abrogate it during his life, and second caliph banned Mutta’ personally. What is the concept of Saqlayn hadith?
From the fact that the holy Prophet (peace be upon him and is descendants) mentioned his household alongside the holy Quran, and then called both of them as the Divine authority over his nation:
Like the holy Quran, the words of the Prophet‟s household serve as the Divine authority, and they must adhere to them in the religious affairs. Although the Muslims were divided into two groups on the issue of Caliphate and the management of the nation‟s political affairs after the Prophet‟s demise and each of them had their own ideologies, there remains no room for any difference among them on the Ahlul-Bait (a.s) as the religious authority, because all of them agree on the validity of Thaqlayn hadith, which calls for the holy Quran and the Prophet‟s household as the source of ideology and Divine laws. It is evident that if the Islamic nations act in accordance with this hadith, their differences will be less and less, and as a result, they will reach to unity.
In his book, entitled „Sahih‟, Moslem narrates from Zeid Ibn Argham that once the Prophet (peace be upon him and his descendants) delivered a sermon next to Khum, a pool in a region between Mecca and Medina, in which he praised God and admonished the people as saying,
(O, people! Verily, I am a man, and soon the angel of death will come to me, and I will submit myself to his call. I leave behind two invaluable things: the Divine Book, which is the light and guidance, so adhere to it. He then went on, and my household, and my household, and my household.)

Vakil Mosque
The Vakil Mosque is a religious and tourist attraction in Shiraz, southern Iran, situated to the west of the Vakil Bazaar next to its entrance. This mosque was built between 1751 and 1773, during the Zand period; however, it was restored in the 19th century during the Qajar period. Vakil means regent, which was the title used by Karim Khan, the founder of Zand Dynasty. Shiraz was the seat of Karim Khan's government and he endowed many buildings, including this mosque.
Vakil Mosque covers an area of 8,660 square meters. It has only two iwans instead of the usual four, on the northern and southern sides of a large open court. The walls are decorated with typical Shirazi haft colorful tiles, a characteristic feature of the art and industry of Shiraz during the latter half of the 18th century. Its night prayer hall with an area of approximately 2,700 square meters, contains 48 monolithic pillars carved in spirals, each with a capital of acanthus leaves. The minbar in this hall is cut from a solid piece of green marble with 14 steps and is considered to be one of the master pieces of the Zand period. The exuberant floral decorative tiles largely date from the Qajar period. This place is very beautiful come and visit.
Caspian summit: Iran FM calls on international organizations to bring Israel to justice for Gaza genocide
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has called for an urgent halt to Israel’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, demanding active role by international organizations to bring the occupying regime to justice for its genocidal war on the besieged territory.
Amir-Abdollahian made the call during the 12th annual summit of foreign ministers of the five Caspian Sea littoral states, Caspian Five, which is hosted by Russia, in the country’s capital of Moscow on Tuesday.
“The Zionist regime’s war criminals must be punished in the international court,” Amir-Abdollahian said as he pointed to the more than 16,000 innocent Palestinians, including women and children, killed by the Israeli regime in Gaza since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Storm in early October.
Calling for international pressure on Israel to lift the blockade on the Strip, the top Iranian diplomat said, “Stop the export of goods to the occupied Palestinian territories and boycott the goods made in Israel; this is the least [we can do] to show our sympathy for the people of Gaza.”
Amir-Abdollahian also said the Islamic Republic recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to resist the Israeli occupation within the framework of international law and United Nations resolutions, underlining the necessity of restoring their right to self-determination as well as the formation of the Palestinian State with al-Quds as its capital and the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland.
Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime’s decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.
Nearly 16,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the Israeli strikes.
Tel Aviv has also imposed a “complete siege” on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
'Caspian Sea should be a real symbol of friendship'
Speaking at the summit in Moscow, Iran’s foreign minister called for more maritime cooperation between the five countries bordering the Caspian Sea while stressing the significance of security and stability in the region.
Amir-Abdollahian said all decisions regarding the issues on the Caspian Sea must be made with the “consensus and agreement” of the five littoral states of Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
“To make the Caspian Sea a real symbol of friendship, progress and development, we need to strengthen collective interaction and cooperation as much as possible,” he added.
Amir-Abdollahian also touched upon environmental challenges facing the Caspian Sea and its littoral states such as the alarming decrease in its water level.
Stressing the need to preserve the environment and resources of the Caspian Sea for future generations, the top Iranian diplomat added, “The Caspian Sea is considered a strategic region due to the fact that it is the connecting link of the North-South and East-West corridors.”
Amir-Abdollahian said security in the Caspian Sea is a collective interest of all coastal countries, saying they shoulder the responsibility to maintain stability, security and sustainable development in the strategic sea.

Children of Gaza; The main victim of the crime of the Zionist regime
The future of any country will be made by the children of that country. Israel has deliberately committed genocide and killed Palestinian children. According to all reports of human casualties and injuries published in Gaza, children are the main victims of the crimes of the occupying Jerusalem regime. A look at the statistics proves this. More than 12 thousand and 300 people have been martyred as a result of the attacks of the Zionist regime, of which more than 5 thousand and 100 children are among the martyrs, which means that 42 percent of the martyrs are children. More than 30,000 people have been injured, 70% of whom are children and women. 3750 people are missing, 1800 of them are children. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) announced that on average, every 10 minutes, a child dies in Gaza and 2 children are injured. In addition, dozens of premature babies are also dead due to lack of fuel. They are facing death in hospitals.
The important point is that the Zionist regime deliberately bombards schools in Gaza. In less than 24 hours, 3 schools have been bombed. Last Friday night, the Zionist army targeted al-Falah school in the south of the Gaza strip. On Saturday, al-Khoura school in the north of Gaza was targeted, and at least 200 martyrs were killed, many of whom were children. At the same time as al-Khore school, Tal al-Zaatar school in northern Gaza was also bombed. These events prove that the Zionist regime, which did not achieve its goal of targeting hospitals and medical centers in Gaza and there was no news of Israeli prisoners or Hamas tunnels under the hospitals, has now made schools the tip of its attacks.
Another important issue is that the deliberate attack on the al-Khore school in the Jabalia camp was carried out in the context that this school is affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), and this agency also announced that schools and centers It informs the IDPs of the Zionist army so that they are safe from attacks. Anan Abu Hosna, the UNRWA spokesperson in the Gaza Strip, announced last week that 50 schools affiliated with the agency were bombed.
In addition to the fact that Palestinian children are the main victims of the Zionist war and crime, a large number of children who survived lost their parents and family members as a result of this war. A large number of them are facing diseases and it is not possible to receive treatment for various reasons, including the closure of medical centers due to bombings and lack of fuel. Undoubtedly, even if the war against Gaza ends now, the number of child martyrs will increase greatly. At the same time, the international community is still only a spectator, and due to the comprehensive support of the United States, France, England and Germany to the Zionist regime, it is practically impossible to take action against the Zionists and stop infanticide.
What is Mushaf Fatima (pbuh)?
The Book of Fatimah is the name of the book that the divine angel explained to Hazrat Fatimah (pbuh) and Imam Ali (pbuh) wrote them. The contents of this book include the position of the Prophet (PBUH) in heaven and future events. This book was with the Shia imams and it was passed from hand to hand and others did not have access to this book and do not have it. This book is now in the hands of Imam Zaman (AS). Some Sunnis have claimed that Shiites have another Qur'an called Mushaf Fatimah, but Shia imams have always emphasized that this Mushaf is a book other than the Qur'an and Shiites accept the same Qur'an common among Muslims.
The descent of the divine angel and God's communication with non-prophets is possible through angels and revelation; As the verses talk about the relationship between the angel and Maryam (pbuh) or that everyone agrees that the mother of Prophet Moses (pbuh) was inspired to throw her child into the river.
Dome of the Rock
Sakhra Mosque or Holy Rock is a mosque in Harim Sharif area on Moriah hill in the city of Beit al-Maqdis. This mosque and its dome, which is known as the Dome of the Rock, is built on a big rock that is respected in Judaism, Islam and Christianity. The famous golden dome or dome, which some people think is the dome of Al-Aqsa Mosque, was built on the aforementioned rock, and the dome of the mosque is the rock.
Sakhara Mosque was built in the first lunar century and during the period of Abdul Malik bin Marwan, and it has been rebuilt in different periods after that.
The Dome of the Rock, along with the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, the Amr al-Aas Mosque in Cairo, and the Qirawan Mosque in Tunisia, is one of the most important buildings built in the first lunar century and is respected among Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
The mountain on which the Dome of the Rock was built was the Qiblah of the Muslims until the second year of Hijri. According to Muslims, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ascended to the sky from this rock on the night of Ascension. Jews believe that the earth was spread out from this rock and Adam's body was created from its soil, and it is the place where Prophet Ibrahim took his son to sacrifice after he was commanded by God to slaughter.
Activists begin hunger strike outside White House demanding permanent ceasefire in Gaza
The left-wing activists, including actress Cynthia Nixon, said they launched their five-day hunger strike on Monday to “showcase the actions of [American] President [Joe] Biden” and to pressure him into demanding a permanent ceasefire in the war-ravaged coastal sliver.
The four-day Qatari-brokered ceasefire between Tel Aviv and Hamas went into effect on Friday and was extended for two more days on Monday following mediation from Egypt and Qatar.
Over the initial four-day pause, 50 Israeli hostages were freed in return for 150 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
A news conference was held at the protest rally in front of the White House and speaker after speaker represented pro-Palestinian causes lined up to denounce Biden and his senior officials. They also lambasted the US president’s administration for enabling a brutal bombardment and ground invasion of Gaza.
“We are taking this action of hunger striking to showcase the actions of President Biden,” said Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic state representative from New York. “It’s President Biden’s actions that are leading to the bombing of Palestinians, the starving of Palestinians. So we are starving ourselves to make visible what is so often erased, which is the Palestinian experience.”

Gaza health situation ‘catastrophic’ despite truce; hospitals buckle under shortage
A senior health official in Gaza has raised the alarm over the dire situation of hospitals in the northern part of the besieged enclave despite a truce, describing it as “catastrophic” amid lack of medicine and fuel.
Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said health facilities in Gaza are bearing the brunt of Israel’s brutal assault on the blockaded territory.
“The health situation in the northern Gaza Strip is currently catastrophic because of the inaccessibility of medical aid and fuel to the hospitals in the north," Qudra said.
“Above that, the situation in the southern Gaza Strip is not at the best level, since limited supplies of medical aid and fuel reach it but are unable to get to the North," he added.
The Palestinian official also noted that only three hospitals are still operating in Gaza, warning that they cannot cover the health requirements inside the strip as they are small and are serving some 900,000 people.
He went on to say that hospital beds are completely full, and wounded and sick people are lying on the ground, calling for a “guaranteed mechanism” to move hundreds of wounded on a daily basis to the hospitals in Egypt and other countries of the world.
Qudra further stressed the need to boost the health system in Gaza, calling for allowing the flow of medical aid and fuel to the strip while demanding large numbers of specialized medical teams to enhance hospital staff in the besieged enclave.
He also denounced the arrest of Muhammad Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, as “inhuman and illegal”, urging the international community to pressure the Israeli regime to release him and other medical staff.
Salmiya was arrested last week along with five other medical staff from the Palestine Red Crescent Society and the Ministry of Health while they were evacuating patients from the hospital as part of a United Nations mission.
Israeli military spokesperson Doron Spielman said on Saturday that Abu Salmiya was being questioned following the regime’s allegations that the hospital houses a “command center” belonging to the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
Tel Aviv has long accused Hamas of using hospitals for housing Palestinian resistance fighters and their equipment and as an alleged launchpad for directing military operations against the occupying regime, a charge Hamas strongly denies.
Under such pretexts, the regime has been targeting hospitals in the besieged enclave since the beginning of its war on Gaza last month.
The Palestinian resistance group has called on the UN to form an investigative team in order to debunk Tel Aviv’s allegations.
Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.
Tel Aviv has also imposed a “complete siege” on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
A four-day truce took effect on Friday to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza after seven weeks of unrelenting bombardment. The truce was extend for two more days on Monday.
According to the Gaza-based health ministry, so far over 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli war, most of them women and children.
