Tehran – Secretary General of International Assembly of Islamic Awakening Ali Akbar Velayati said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a comprehensive model for Islamic awakening.
He made the remarks in a special interview with IRIB’s Channel Two in Tehran on Thursday night.
“Women are the backbone of the society and if they are in scene, the families will surely be in the scene, Velayati added.
He noted that the experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran throughout past 32 years has shown that if the individuals come to the political scene and support something that idea or measure will be successful.
Velayati pointed out that the experiences of Pahlavi and Qajar eras have shown that the Western women as models for Muslim women have failed and the western model is always in captivity.
